New Haven Truck Racing Team

This weeks racing kicked off the 6th annual Carquest SK 150 with Ed Gertsch Jr behind the wheel of the 87 and Woody Pitkat behind the wheel of the 88 late models. Both cars started from the rear of the field, Gertsch worked through traffic and 3 caution and ended up with a 12th Place Finish. Gertsch said after the race he was looking for more forward bite up off the corner. Pitkat also worked his way to the front with a late restart. Pitkat started 5th and battled with the 92 for a 4th place finish. After the race Pitkat said the car was great but a little tight In the center.
